This list of world top 40 has been put together by an internationally reputed organization, World Pharmaceutical Frontiers and published in SPG Media, London. The news has been picked up by the reputed and trusted newspapers, Business Standard, Economic Times, and many others (May 23, 2008).

According to WFP, these top 40 would be the key industry players, driving innovation and development within the global pharmaceutical industry. Innovation thus is now the key focus world over.
