Dr. Rajesh Jain sharing his learnings as a Panelist at CKIC - DRIIV Discussion on Creating an Innovation Ecosystem.

How to innovate? Are we ready to innovate?
I often get asked these questions wherever I go.
Panacea Biotec has been at the forefront of Innovation with multiple products and awards for our Innovation that has led to better health outcomes, affordability, and social impact. Through this journey and commitment to Innovation, I have come across the following learnings to Innovate:
Tap ideas from All. Young minds to be nurtured wherever they go. Talent needs “delicate handling”
Junior most colleagues must be given independence to talk – their objections, suggestions, interference, etc. is acceptable and, even more, its Welcome! We should not treat it as an “offence.”
Complex issues are thrown Up or Pulled out and Up they Go
Leaders must decrease fear of failure and that the goal should be to experiment constantly, fail early and often, and learn as much as possible in the process.
Leaders play the most important role like a Choreographer – setting the steps and rhythm so that we create a product that is in-sync with market demand and mentoring/coaching the team even in failure by keeping their eye on the prize.
