COMMON QUESTIONS

Addressing Parent Concerns Directly

Honest answers to the questions every parent deserves to ask.

About the Manufacturer
Will my baby experience pain after vaccination?
+

Some babies may experience mild pain or tenderness at the injection site after vaccination. This is a normal and expected response — it reflects the immune system beginning to build protection. The discomfort is generally short-lived and manageable.

Why does fever occur after vaccination?
+

Fever after vaccination is the body's natural immune response to vaccine antigens. When the immune system encounters vaccine components, it activates and may produce mild fever as part of that response. This is how the body prepares to defend against infection.

Is mild fever after vaccination normal?
+

Yes. Mild fever can be a normal response following vaccination and reflects the body's natural immune engagement with the vaccine antigens. It typically resolves on its own within 1–2 days. Always consult your paediatrician if you have any concerns.

Why is pertussis (whooping cough) particularly dangerous for infants?
+

Pertussis is especially dangerous for young infants because their airways are small and their immune systems are still developing. Severe coughing episodes can lead to serious complications. Infants under 6 months are at the highest risk, making early vaccination critical.

Why does EasySix use whole-cell pertussis technology?
+

EasySix uses whole-cell pertussis (wP) technology because it contains more than 3,000 bacterial antigens — providing broader immune training than acellular vaccines, which contain only 2–5 selected antigens. This broad antigen exposure more closely resembles natural bacterial exposure and supports more comprehensive immune preparation.

What matters more: temporary discomfort or long-term protection?
+

Any mild discomfort following vaccination is temporary — lasting hours to a day or two. The protection built through vaccination can last years. When weighing temporary discomfort against long-term protection against six serious diseases, the benefit of vaccination is clear.
